How Deep is Lake Pend Oreille? Let’s Find Out!

  Ever looked at Lake Pend Oreille and wondered just how deep it goes? Trust me, you’re not the first person to ask this question. This gorgeous lake in northern Idaho is way deeper than you might think, and that’s part of what makes it so cool. So, How Deep Are We Talking? Here’s the answer: Lake Pend Oreille drops down to 1,150 feet at its deepest point. Yeah, you read that right, over a thousand feet! That’s about as tall as a 100-story building, except it’s going down instead of up. It’s the fifth deepest lake in the whole country and the deepest one you’ll find in Idaho.
